Granny2 is a survival horror video game developed and published by Swedish indie game developer Dennis Vukanovic, under the name DVloper, as a spinoff from the previous Slendrina series. The game features an anonymous protagonist trapped in a house, who needs to solve puzzles while preventing the titular "Granny" from leaving the house in a time period of just five to six days. The game gained massive traction upon its release across various media platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, and other social media sources. The last update the game received was on January 20, 2021. The current version of Granny 1.7.9

The game takes place in an old house where the player is trapped and has 5 days to escape. The player must explore the house to find items that can help him escape. Items include a wooden plank hammer, a pair of pliers, a shotgun, and a crossbow. The player can escape by removing the locks on the front door or repairing the car in the garage, the latter of which requires an additional set of items. There are a total of 16 items that need to be collected to escape.

Grandma searches the house for the player, using any loud sounds to her advantage and setting traps to hinder the player's progress. If Granny sees the player, she will start chasing him at different speeds depending on the difficulty. Grandma will also be drawn to the player's location if the player makes noise. [6] There is also a giant spider on the upper floor of the attic, which protects an important item and will attack the player on sight if they are not distracted or killed. There is also an additional 'nightmare mode' that adds bloodier texture to surfaces and re-textures Granny's model, as well as re-skinning Granny's bear traps.

If the player is caught, Granny will knock him unconscious, ending the current day. The player can also be knocked unconscious by falling through the unstable floor, the spider in the attic, or by exploding with the gas can. If the player is caught on the last day, one of the 4 "game over" cutscenes is played and the player is sent back to the title screen. The player can knock Granny unconscious (which lasts for a period of fifteen seconds to two minutes, depending on the level of difficulty), or temporarily blind her using a variety of different traps and weapons. If Granny is knocked unconscious with certain weapons, an additional 30 seconds are added (15 if the player is playing on the highest difficulty). The player also receives injuries during the period of time that he is in the house, which includes lameness and blood around the peripheral vision.
